About Owner

Two Oaks Journey (TOJ) was created by Ricardo Martin, a native of Phenix City, Al.

He from an early age knew that you had to work and be consistent to achieve what you want in anything. With that in mind he went to obtain an Associates Degree from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in 2010, a Bachelors of Science from The University of Alabama in 2013, and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology from Troy University in 2016. Ricardo is also a veteran of the nations armed forces; having deployed in 2010 to Afghanistan serving within the United States Army within Operation Enduring Freedom and in support of NATO Coalition Forces.

During his various careers particularly the Armed Forces Ricardo has experienced and excelled in organizational leadership, training, and promotional of subordinate growth. He has developed a tremendous skill set and knowledge base that will enable any person who has access to grow themselves. Ricardo will be able to assess the situation and professionally offer solutions.

Ricardo is a current member of the International Association of Therapists, and the Complimentary Therapists Accredited Association; having obtained certification as a  Meditation Specialist and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy Practitioner respectively.

He believes that if a person can change the way they respond, learn to challenge and reflect upon yourself, and set clear realistic goals/expectations they will be a better person than before. His mission is to help clients achieve their individual or collective goals by providing innovative, dedicated services to realize their innate potential.
