Self-care is anything you do to take care of yourself so you stay physically, mentally and emotionally well.

The benefits of practicing self-care are better physical, mental and emotional health and over all well-being.
What are the positive health benefits of practicing self-care?
Research suggests self-care promotes positive health outcomes; living longer, handling and managing stress and increasing our capacity for resilience. This generates an acceptance of reality, a sense of purpose and flexible thinking.
What counts as self-care?
Common examples of self-care include: maintaining a regular sleeping routine, eating healthy, spending time in nature, doing a hobby you enjoy, looking after your body and expressing gratitude. Self-care can look different for everyone, to count as self-care, the behaviour should promote health and happiness for you.

Indian Head Massage is an Ayurvedic massage therapy in which the goal is to clear blocks in the meridians ‘energy channels’ which cause a build-up of negative energy. When energy does not flow properly, negative energy builds up, causing common ailments, including stress and pain.
