I am Adél Fábián, the founder of MindFlourish Academy.

My trauma-focused training programs are meticulously designed for helping professionals, those committed to personal growth, and certified experts seeking to deepen their understanding.
My passion lies at the intersection of professional expertise and lived experience. I am dedicated to helping my clients bridge these two worlds to achieve meaningful growth and lasting inner peace.

As an Expert by Experience, I specialize in supporting recovery from abuses committed against children and vulnerable individuals. I serve as a Mental Health Consultant and Wellbeing Supporter. With a core focus on the wonders of the female psyche and the journey of womanhood, I also work as a full-spectrum doula (pregnancy and childbirth attendant), complemented by my foundational studies as a student midwife. To ensure the highest quality of care, not only my consultant and group work but also my birth support services are regularly supervised.

You may encounter me as a guest lecturer at universities, primary schools, and cultural centers, where I typically speak on the complexities of abuse, its long-term consequences, and the path to recovery. I have served as a thesis consultant at Semmelweis University’s Interdisciplinary Family Sciences (MA) program, focusing on the “Psychology of Fears and Anxieties during Pregnancy.” My work on this subject has been published in Embertárs magazine, edited by the staff of the Institute of Mental Health.

My international academic background includes advanced coursework from the University of Sydney (Positive Psychiatry & Mental Health), Yale University (The Science of Wellbeing), and Wesleyan University (Suicide Prevention). I continue my professional development through regular accredited training at NICABM (The National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine). Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Psychology at the International Open University, specializing in Islamic Psychology.

This professional level training is designed to refine and expand the individual and group meditation techniques learned in the Foundation and Advanced courses. The program focuses on elevating your practice to a vocational level, specifically enhancing meditation-based consultations. Before the course begins, students must select a client or form a meditation group to mentor throughout the 42-hour duration. Due to the intensive nature of case discussions and practical sessions, participation is not possible without an active practice group/client.
This advanced level is designed for those who have completed their foundational studies and wish to deepen their expertise to lead meditation sessions with greater awareness and safety. The module explores 13 internal themes that frequently arise during practice, such as the need for control, people-pleasing, guilt, and fear. Deep Insight: Understanding the root causes of complex emotional states (e.g., early childhood patterns, attachment issues, and internal belief systems). Safe Framework: Learning how to support participants through intense inner processes without crossing into psychological or therapeutic territory. Advanced Techniques: Building upon foundational skills with professional methods to handle specific hurdles like anger, hopelessness, and mistrust. Core Topics Include: Control and trust: Transforming the urge to over-control into inner stability. Emotional Challenges: Navigating guilt, resentment, and low mood states (distinguishing between temporary sadness and depressive patterns). Security and letting go: Addressing the loss of emotional and financial security, and mastering the art of "letting go" and "allowing."
This training covers the entire perinatal spectrum, from preconception challenges (infertility, IVF, donation) to losses occurring during pregnancy and around birth. This short, three-session course is designed for those who wish to explore the basic mechanisms of imagination and learn how to apply them safely—without committing to the full-length Mentor Training (©Imaginative Personality Development Mentor). It serves as an ideal complementary tool for helping professionals or as a deeper introduction to an individual’s personal self-awareness journey.
"The aim of the training is for participants to understand the psychological functioning of trauma and abuse, to recognize the visible and hidden forms of abuse in their clients, to learn the basics of sensitive questioning, and to be able to be present and provide support to traumatized persons in a trauma-sensitive manner. The training presents the psychological stages of recovery from abuse. In the last half of the day, based on real, reported (thus serious) anonymous cases, the practical task is the structuring and presentation of a consultation
