As a little girl, I grew up being very close to my Paternal Grandmother who was a Nurse and Herbalist. It was super easy for us to incorporate the use of herbs into our everyday lives as we are from the Amazon where the use of herbs is as common as breathing. As I grew older, I was drawn closer and closer to studying the intricacies of incorporating herbs as part of an everyday lifestyle.

In my late teens, after completing high school, I pursued studies in Cosmetology and Business Management. After successfully completing Diplomas in 2002, in Hair and Nail Technology and Facial Care Therapy, I then completed Barbering in 2003. Then in 2010, I pursued Diplomas in Swedish Massage Therapy and Trigger Point Therapy. After these studies, I opened my own Salon where I was able to put my qualifications to use. It was during my years as a Cosmetologist that I started to see a trend in the number of cases of women starting to get sick from the constant exposure to harmful chemicals disguised as ‘beauty products’.

I then began to use my knowledge of herbs and natural remedies along with my expertise in the Beauty Industry and formulated my own line of products which I used on my clients. After a few years and much success, I decided to close my salon and I then focused on my brand of products and therein began my business Na`Churals Body Care which I officially started 4 years ago.

During the pandemic, while the world was at a standstill, I took the opportunity and pursued studies online through the Centre of Excellence and gained Diplomas in Organic Skincare Business, Essential Oils Business, Holistic Herbal Product Making, Aromatherapy, Advanced Aromatherapy, Master Herbalist, Advanced Master Herbalist, Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Herbalism.

In essence, Na`Churals Body Care was born after I discovered my niche in the natural product industry. With Na`Churals Body Care I am able to incorporate my love of the Beauty Industry and my passion for herbs and create a product line that is safe for all ages, cruelty-free and completely plant-based. As part of my services, I not only provide high-quality herbal products but also offer herbal consultations to customers who seek a more natural non-intrusive health regimen as part of their everyday lifestyle.

It is my heart’s desire to be a part of the global shift in moving away from harmful toxins disguised as cosmetics to a more eco-friendly and safer line where any member of the family can use and remain guilt-free and healthy all at the same time.
