Jennifer Ann Falandys

I am a Certified Trauma and Resilience Life Coach through Trauma Institute International, a Consultant and Educator on Ethics In Practice and Trauma-Informed Care in Coaching. I have Complex-PTSD and I am raising awareness on the role of the brain-body connection and cultivating safety within our work. I have a background in non-profit mental health providing coaching and facilitating healing support for people with mental health challenges, disabilities, and those who have endured trauma. I have been coaching for almost nine years, and I have over 20 years of experience in advocacy work. I have facilitated workshops, built conferences for survivors of trauma and domestic violence, and spoken at local and state levels as a lead advocate for the Western Region of New York State where I’ve shared my story about facing mental health challenges, living with a disability, and trauma. In that, I’ve also raised awareness around the role of support in recovery and resilience.

Today my focus is on collaborative leadership work around integrity and systems change. I want to normalize conversations around accessibility in the role of healing, health, and wellness. My continued advocacy efforts have moved into the realm of occupational health + wellness, and the science of trauma across the lifespan.
